Attraction Information
Penshurst Place and Gardens have something to offer all the family with the lively recreation of interesting historic events, staff led craft activities, seasonal children's gardens trails around the labrynthine gardens and nearly seven centuries of history all in one place!
Their traditional Adventure Playground has swings, balancing bars, climbing nets as well as a spring wooden horse and offers loads more classic fun features like slides, swings and climbing frames, plus chickens to feed and the woodland trail provide a fun environment for your children to let off steam. They also have a new Maize Maze for exploration and discovery! Tonnes of fun if you've got the weather.
You can also pick up free copies of their great little children's Woodland Trail Quiz sheet from the main counter at the Visitor Entrance.
This is also the site of the Lord De L'Isle Toy Museum, which is well worth a look through with any age of kids, there's plenty of vintage fun to get nostalgic over. There's a trail in this section too, use it to help get them out again!
