You need to make sure you have a valid ticket for visiting Twinlakes. You can obtain a day ticket in advance of your visit to Twinlakes or buy one from the ticket kiosk on the day. A good option for families is an annual ticket. The annual pass gives you a whole year of fun and if you are going to visit regularly works out much better value than paying each time.
