The Climbing Station is 800sqm of world class bouldering facility with thrilling and supportive kids' sessions available. Bouldering is a type of rock climbing at low level, usually above crash mats. It's not just for beginners by any means but it is an excellent place to start.
Kids' club: this class will provide a great introduction to climbing; teach basic climbing skills and knowledge in a fun environment. They will also give children an introduction to the climbing class environment. Recommended for 7 to 11 years olds. Advanced technique class: children with previous climbing experience are welcome to join their intermediate class. This class will look at fundamental climbing techniques, will begin the process of progression and introduce basic training principals. Recommended for 12 to 17 years olds.
So whatever level the kids are at and wherever they want to be (up there!") you've got support and scope for progression. There are of course a whole range of additional intricacies ideal for the grown ups and the kids that are part mountain goat, so you folks who really know your stuff will be equally impressed with The Climbing Station. Opening Times
Monday through Friday from 11am to 10pm Saturday from 10am to 6pm. Sunday from 12 noon to 6pm. Bank Holidays from 11pm to 10pm.
Pricing & Tickets
Many options available but as a guidance the Bouldering induction for 1.5 hours which includes life time membership is just £15 and kids' classes start at £12.
