Kick Up The Arts is creative art and craft hub in the heart of Melton Mowbray. Kick Up The Arts is ran by a group of local artists who share their creative passion with the local community and visitors to the town. If you're looking to get creative and connect this is the perfect place to be!
We offer regular drop in sessions and adult and family friendly art and craft workshops, and also work with freelance local artists in the communitty from textiles artists, felters, painters, printmakers to name a few! Our workshop span a range of mediums and disciplines that provide an opportunity for people to explore and get creative across a range of different activities.
We believe in providing a safe, inclusive, creative and welcoming space to everyone. Our sessions are also a great way for adults, families and children to connect and stay curious in their creative persuits - enabling a sense of creative freedom to explore and learn different techniques, and have lots of fun along the way.
Kick Up The Arts started out as a community project a few years ago and the team have worked hard to continue offering this creative outlet for the community and visitors to enjoy and have creative experiences they are sure to remember with a smile. As artists we are truely passionate about offering this service and enabling people to connect through creativity. As independent artists we are skilled in our delivery and chosen creative disciplines - and we're a friendly bunch too!

Located in the heart of Melton Mowbray town centre, we offer a range of adult and family friendly art and craft workshops to attend.
Join in for fun, relaxed and explorative sessions and develop skill across a range of mediums, materials and creative disciplines - there's lots of options to choose from!

Our affordable drop in sessions are for adults and families who want to pop in and spend 2 hours on either a craft or art activity.
These are perfect for those who want to relax, connect and have some time to get creative with our resident artists.
Each week, we plan and prepare a few exciting art and craft activities for all skill levels in our welcoming space.
Explore painting, collage, and creative crafts while learning new techniques, exploring creative processes and having fun!
Working on your own piece? Bring it along, get guidance, and use our materials to create in a supportive environment.

We also offer gel and collagraph printing during our sessions for an additional £3 per person.
