You can throw your own ceramics on the potter's wheel!
At the Clayrooms Loughborough we have six shimpo wheels where you'll learn the basics of throwing clay on the potter's wheel. In this private session, your party can dive into the wonderful world of pottery together.
Throughout this hands-on experience, our fabulous tutors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you gain a solid foundation in the art of throwing. At the end of the taster session we will cut through all our creations and gain an understanding of our pots inside and out - but don’t worry, all the clay from these workshops are recycled to live on as new pots.
Whether you're a complete beginner or have some previous experience, our workshop is designed for individuals of all skill levels. We understand that starting something new can be intimidating, but rest assured, our friendly and supportive environment will put your fears at ease. Our dedicated tutors will take the time to explain the techniques and demonstrate the process and be on hand to help throughout!
