Attraction Information
The Centre @ Halton is a vibrant and welcoming community centre in the heart of Halton. It is family friendly and very welcoming and has something for everyone.
The wide range of facilities is unique in the area. There are meeting rooms and a hall inside The Centre, as well as a friendly and popular Coffee Shop which is well used by the many families and children.
The outside facilities include a fantastic skate park three children's play areas, a ball park (MUGA), boules pitch and football field. These are all free access facilities – there is no need to book in advance – just turn up. Also the skate park and MUGA are floodlit in the evenings. These facilities, located in a pleasant rural area near the River Lune and the popular and child safe Caton/Lancaster cycle track, make an ideal location for a day out with the kids.
There is also classes and activities for children, for which fees are charged – gymnastics, enjoy-a-ball, dance classes, kidz fitness, junior football. And in addition they have a popular annual Family Fun Night.
