Lancaster Canal Cruises and Waterbus
Lancaster, LancashireAbout Lancaster Canal Cruises and Waterbus
Lancaster Canal Boats offers daily cruises to the Magnificent Lune Aqueduct which has just undergone a substantial £2m facelift making it one of the most appealing alternative attractions in the area.
They offer several tours daily to the Lune Aqueduct and even allow time (weather permitting) to have a look around and take in the stunning views of the city and also the countryside.
A short historical talk is given by the friendly crew as we sail along and all children that come on board receive a free activity pack to keep them occupied as we go.
There is wildlife spotting, historical sight spotting and you may even be lucky enough to spot the resident Kingfisher bird as she plays with the boat as you sail along or why not visit the captain and try your hand at sailing and all children receive a "I sailed the Lune Aqueduct" certificate as a souvenir of their day!
There is a bar on board serving hot and cold drinks, light snacks and souvenir items as well as toilet and hand wash facilities and a small outdoor seating area so you take in the fresh air and the stunning scenery.
