Motorcycle trials is very different from traditional motocross or racing. Trials bikes do not have seats and are ridden at slow speeds, focusing on balance, coordination and technique. Riders learn how to safely set off, steer, stop and navigate a variety of fun obstacles known as “sections”. These sections are clearly marked and tailored to different ability levels, allowing riders to progress at their own pace in a calm, controlled environment.

At Inch Perfect Trials, safety and enjoyment go hand in hand. Our friendly, fully qualified instructors are on hand throughout every session, offering clear guidance, encouragement and reassurance. With small group sizes and clearly defined ability levels, every rider is placed into the most suitable group to ensure they feel comfortable, supported and challenged appropriately. This makes our sessions ideal for complete beginners, nervous first-timers and confident riders alike.

We run children’s training sessions and family experiences from March to September, making them perfect for weekends, school holidays and special occasions. Adult sessions (ages 12+) run all year round, providing a fantastic outdoor activity whatever the season. Many families enjoy riding together, while others choose to watch from our viewing areas and enjoy the countryside setting.

Everything you need for the day is included, making your visit completely hassle-free. We provide all motorcycles, with children riding modern electric trials bikes that have adjustable controls for speed and response. Adults can ride electric or petrol bikes depending on their experience and preference. We also supply all riding and safety gear, including helmet, boots, gloves, trials trousers and a jersey.

Expert tuition is provided throughout every session, ensuring riders are supported from start to finish. On full-day experiences, riders are treated to a hot homemade lunch, while shorter sessions include refreshments or a slice of cake. All you need to do is turn up and enjoy the experience.
