About Tarka Leisure Centre
Tarka Leisure Centre has standard swimming facilities with 1m and 3m Springboards. The 5m currently out of use. There is a learner pool too, for developing skills and water confidence, or just having a splash about!
There are varying session types available to attend, some of which are adult only or lane swimming, so be sure to check out the timetables through the handy link when planning to make sure you get what you want form the trip.
Other facilities include Bumpers indoor soft play area, which is a small adventure facility great for keeping kids aged between 2 and 5 happy for the length of a swim for the older lot! Make sure you take enough grown-ups to split forces though, as the swimming pool has strict supervision ratios for kids.
There's also a martial arts facility and a set of sports courts for things like squash and badminton, so there's actually loads of scope for differing activities here if you're up for a range of stuff and have the wisdom to pre-book and arrange the supporting acts!
