At Clovelly Village after being welcomed with an audio visual exhibit, you are free to explore the Kingsley Museum and the Fisherman's Cottage alongside the lovely Clovelly Court Gardens! This things are covered by your admission, but there's so much more on offer in the rest of the village too!
One of the highlights for kids is definitely Owl Magic, where your family can learn all about their birds of prey and watch cool live demonstrations, then actually fly a hawk or falcon yourselves!
Out in the Harbour there are Boat Trips, Charter, Angling and Diving opportunities plus simple family fishing from the old harbour wall!
Plus, The Clovelly Silk and Pottery Craft Workshops offer older kids (and you!) the chance to make their own silk scarf or clay pot to take home! They also Rag Rugging demonstrations and the Rowan Tree Studio offers classes in sewing, quilting, knitting, furniture painting, soap making and candle making. Something to suit everyone!
The High Street is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs (and can be slippery so wear decent shoes) but the Visitor Centre, donkey stable, craft workshops and Mount Pleasant are all perfectly accessible.
