Our spaces are designed to support learning through play, helping little ones develop communication, social interaction and co-operation skills naturally while they’re having the best time. Whether they’re serving customers, caring for others, creating masterpieces or organising their own adventures, every visit is different.

We also have a dedicated baby area, perfect for our tiniest visitors. It’s a calm, safe space where babies can explore at their own pace while parents relax nearby. For children who may benefit from a quieter environment, our sensory room provides a soothing, engaging experience with carefully selected sensory elements to support regulation and exploration.

Accessibility is incredibly important to us. Scribbleton is fully accessible with level access throughout, adult wheelchair-friendly spaces and free parking directly outside the building. We want every family to feel welcome and comfortable during their visit.

Our onsite café is a huge part of the Scribbleton experience. With a 5* food hygiene rating, we serve a delicious range of locally sourced bakes, light bites, snacks and treats to keep both little and big tummies happy. We’re allergy aware and trained, and we take dietary requirements seriously so families can feel confident when ordering. Whether it’s a proper coffee and cake catch up or a quick refuel between play sessions, our café can cater to your needs.

We run regular sessions as well as special events throughout the year, including seasonal celebrations, themed activities and popular SEND sessions designed to create a supportive, inclusive environment for children with additional needs. Our experienced team works hard to ensure every session feels welcoming, relaxed and fun.

Scribbleton is also a fantastic venue for birthday parties. Our parties are full of imaginative play, laughter and memorable moments, with exclusive use options available so you can celebrate stress-free while we handle the fun.

During term time we offer flexible play sessions, including popular unlimited play days, giving families the freedom to work around nap times and make the most of their visit. It’s the perfect rainy-day activity in Devon, but just as lovely for a planned treat or regular meet up with friends.
