It’s fabulous every time! See life through plants, colour, and texture in each breathtaking garden while exploring otherworldly features of the gardens...
The Gardens
Looking for a magical garden to explore? Let's start with the Potager & Cottage Gardens. Spot the charming Summer house with its thatched roof amongst the exuberant flurry of flowers. Absorb the colour and fragrant smells of the daffodils, tulips, pelargoniums, clematis, and climbing roses! There is also veg growing here too, deep in the soft soil!
Another fairytale-like garden is of course The Rose Gardens. In the Springtime you'll find a celebration of colour and life growing and climbing high. The garden consists of old traditional roses, represented by Albas, Damasks, Moss and Gallicas mixed in with some modern shrub roses. It's the perfect place to take some family photos. You should also take a stroll down The Queen Mother's Rose Garden. Here you'll find Hybrid tea (large-flowered), floribunda (cluster-flowered) and shrub roses form a delightful mix with climbing roses and ramblers. What will strike you the most, however, is the glorious scent!
There are so many exquisite gardens to explore at RHS Rosemoor. Play hide and seek behind the pyramid hedges in The Long Borders. Follow the immaculate winding paths of The Cool Garden. Follow your feet to a body of water in the Upper bog Garden, Rock Gully & Lake. Kids will love uncovering a waterfall and marvelling at the South American large-leaved gunneras in the lake. Race each other through natural flower meadows, take a seat in the Mediterranean Garden or investigate the sculptures in the Stone Garden.
Kids will never get bored at these amazing gardens, with so many colours, textures, and structures to discover, they will be in heaven!
Things To Do
Your cheeky monkeys will love The Brash - an action-packed natural play area under tine pine trees, featuring climbing structures, a sandpit, a slide, and bug magnifiers. Then at the second play area, you can find the “Green Ship”, with its standing see-saw and spiro-giro, which is perfect for older kids. Meanwhile, your younger adventurers can climb the living willow sculptures and practice their balance on the stepping logs.
Want to make it more fun for the little ones? Pick up a free seasonal trail map at the entrance, follow the clues and get a prize at the end. Don't miss the new Very Hungry Caterpillar trail!
Want to take a piece of RHS Garden Rosemoor with you? Head over to the garden centre for your pick of the crops! Enrich your life with flowers and shrubs grown in Rosemoor's very own plant nursery! Is there a family member's birthday coming up? Why not treat them to a wide selection of unique gifts, fashions, fragrances, and homewares? There's to mooch through at the Rosemoor Garden Centre & gift shop! Keep your eyes peeled for exciting annual celebrations!
