Not only can you enjoy the thrilling experience of travelling by steam, pulled by wonderful locomotives such as ‘Rocket', there are a number of other features at the railway to keep everyone entertained. The Telford Town Tramway offers a great way to experience a smaller steam train, on a 2” gauge vertical boiler loco and trailer.The 5-inch Phoenix Miniature Railway also operates from the Spring Village station every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday throughout the operating season (additional charges apply). Telford Steam Railway holds a number of exciting family-friendly events throughout the year. Please visit the website for the full details.Transport & Parking for VisitorsFree parking is available at our Spring Village station (TF4 2NF).Unfortunately, no parking is available at our Horsehay and Dawley, and Lawley stations. This attraction is around 10 minutes from the Telford Town Centre or 8 minutes from the Ironbridge gorge. Telford has great links to the M54 and A5.
