Pevlings Farm Riding and Livery Stables
Templecombe, Somerset and BristolAttraction Information
Pevlings Farm Riding Stables was established in 1985 and the aim at this riding stables has always been to provide a safe, friendly and informal atmosphere in which to learn to ride and look after a horse/pony.
There is no minimum age so they can cater for tiny tots to teenagers (some adults too!) (Weight limit 12 stone). Beginners are welcome and more experienced riders can do jumping and hacking.
Lessons are available for all ages and abilities on a daily basis throughout the year. Lessons are given by trained and experienced professionals who are friendly and approachable for children to learn from.
They run pony days in the school holidays so kids can spend the day with them and have a lesson and learn about pony care. They also run a Helpers Club for those who want to get a bit more involved and are also a Pony Club Centre. Pony Club members can work towards badges and certificates.
Other activities, available to all riders, can include clear round jumping and gymkhana competitions and the opportunity to take progressive rider tests. However the emphasis is always on having fun and enjoying the ponies. They can do regular lessons or just one-offs!
They are proud to be BHS approved, ABRS approved and Clubmark accredited.
