Looking for things to do in Accrington? This popular family attraction has a whole host of fun activities that your kids will enjoy, like the Wildfowl Reserve. On top of spotting your own birdies you'll also see plenty of theirs, including black swans, white and Chinese geese, mandarins, black swan, Chinese goose, white geese, mandarins, mallards, pochards, mallards and many more!
Younger visitors will have the time of their life in the Mr Bubbles Play Area, with plenty to entertain all children up to the age of 10 on multiple levels filled with well-padded craziness.
Oswaldtwistle Mills also has 2 educational display areas dedicated to the history of both Oswaldtwistle and the Mill itself. Visitors interested in the history of the textile industry and World War II will be fascinated with the Textile Time Tunnel and The Heritage Centre.
There are also a number of outdoor activities for visitors to the Mill. The Mill Grounds have plenty to offer, particularly in the summer months, including a Wildfowl Reserve, which is home to over 52 varieties of Ducks and Geese, so bring your binoculars!
For those who want to create their own outdoor haven, The Garden Market has a huge range of plants, decorations and water features too, great for a quiet walk around once the kids are cream crackered!
