Children can learn farm secrets about sustainable farming practices, animal care, and about the production of the famous Dowsons Farm ice cream. Sounds delicious! The farm guides give expert talks throughout the day and there's plenty of animals to meet.
Hands-on farm experience
A highlight for the little ones is the interactive animal encounters and there's plenty of new friends to greet. Children can meet and feed a variety of farm animals, including cows, sheep, goats, and pigs. Farm visitor tip- head to the goat enclosure with plenty of feed from the farmer's buckets they will be hungry! Then, there's water buffalo in the cow barn, baby emus and even a wallaby walk.
These encounters are not only fun but educational, teaching children about different animal species and how to care for them. The farm's dedicated staff are always on hand to share fascinating facts and answer any little ones curious questions in daily talks.
