National Squash Centre and Regional Arena

The National Squash Centre & Regional Arena on Rowsley Street sits on the Etihad Campus, a short stroll from Etihad Campus Tram Stop, and it's an elite venue with a real 2002 Commonwealth Games legacy. The outdoor 8-lane, 400m athletics track has covered seating for up to 6,500 spectators and remains open to all - juniors pay just £3 for a session. There's an iconic glass-walled show squash court plus other courts, with junior squash lessons from £27.50 a month including free equipment. Note the indoor arena and squash courts are currently closed for refurbishment (from April 2026), though the outdoor track stays open throughout - it's worth checking current availability before visiting.
