The Projekts MCR Skatepark welcomes riders of skateboards, scooters, inlines, rollerblades and BMXs and those who have yet to start on any of them!
They offer a wide range of skateboard classes for all ages and abilities including adults-only classes on Wednesday evenings, women and girls only classes on Thursday evenings. They also have kids only classes on the weekends as well as sessions for home educated children on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during term time. As well as this, they run a roller skate and inline only class on a Monday evening. If the group lessons are a bit much (or not enough) then they also offer private lessons as well as beginner-friendly holiday sessions.
It's a cracking little undercover skatepark with well maintained, classic features to practice or show off on, depending on your skill level! Minimum age 5, parental supervision and waivers required, full equipment included in all skateboard classes, safety gear included for the roller skate and inlines only class. There is also a school holiday skateboard club running here Monday through Friday from 10am until 1pm during every school holiday!
