Manchester Bus Tours is a 2-hour tour on an open-top bus to visit the main sites in the city centre as well as the surrounding districts running on Saturdays and some Bank Holidays.
You will see the worlds first passenger railway station in Castlefield and the University district, where the atom was first split and the worlds first programmable computer was created. You will also see Old Trafford stadium of Manchester United fame, and the Etihad stadium of Manchester City. The tour also visits Salford Quays, location of MediaCityUK, the Imperial War Museum North, The Lowry arts complex and the new location for Coronation Street.
Please note this tour currently runs on Saturdays and some bank holidays but do check before you promise the family.
