NEW EVENTS ALERT! Kick off your Summer at the WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre, with so many fun activities to try out with your kids will be giggling all day long. Set sail on a canoe ride into the picturesque waters. How much Welsh Wetland nature can you explore in a day? The answer is, LOTS! Meet some of the world’s rarest (and friendliest) geese, ducks and swans as you wander through the fascinating wetlands, plus keep your eyes peeled for the imaginative outdoor play areas across the reserve! Head to the Explore the wild play park and jump, swing or climb your way through the obstacle course, just remember to pack some wellies for rainy days…
Head down to Wiggly Wood and put your survival skills to the test, you’ll find a variety of natural materials all ready and waiting for you to build an epic den or hideout! With all sorts of beautiful birds and nature to spot, plus exciting adventures, it’s a day out everyone can enjoy.
Whether you are meeting lots of animals, having a go at craft activities, or you came purely to see the flamboyant flamingos, this wetland centre is a Welsh treasure!

wetlands shop and browse gorgeous gifts, books, toys and bird care.
If you want to bring your own food you are more than welcome! The Wetland Centre offers a dedicated picnic space so families can enjoy
Travelling & Parking For Visitors
If you are travelling via car you'll be happy to know that visitor parking is FREE - wooo!
Catching a train to Llanelli Wetland Centre? The nearest station is in Llanelli and is approximately two miles away. It's a 35 - 40 minute walk or a 15 minute cycle away. Llanelli has a brilliant and beautiful coastal path which is why cycling to the centre is a great family experience. It's also a scenic and eco-friendly way to reach the centre.
Have you been swayed to take the cycling route? If you are already a family of avid cyclists you'll want to which trail routes you can follow. The centre is situated on the
Celtic Trail Route 4 and you can

wooden bike racks for cyclists - 18 bikes to be exact! They are located outside the centre.
