Rhossili Bay Beach
About Rhossili Bay Beach
Rhossili Bay Beach Three miles of golden sand access via a steep path down from the clifftop. The beach is quieter than one would expect for a setting so stunning. At the southern end there's the mile long tidal island of Worm's Head which rises from the waters like a square headed mythical beast. You can walk to it to see the seabirds (and perhaps a grey seal!) during two hours either side of low tide without getting your feet wet but take care to be back before it returns. Surfing is popular at the northern end where the biggest rollers come in, and swimming is okay but there is no lifeguard cover so stay fairly close to land. Immediate facilities include toilets with disabled facilities, a shop, cafe and pub and are all at the top of a steep access path.
