About National Botanic Garden of Wales

Come see why the National Botanic Garden is the most visited parkland in Wales! Set in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, the garden has the perfect blend of both modern and historic attractions!

Here you’ll find an inspiring range of themed gardens, including the Tropical House and Aqualab where kids can explore a treasure chest of natural wonders through a number of activities. Each different garden has its own secrets and surprises waiting for you, the Dipping Pond is home to newts, pond skaters and water beetles and should definitely not be missed!

Are you ready to whizz down the zip wire in the crazy adventure play park or maybe even discover the pint-sized residents of the forest in the fairy wood? With so many family activities on throughout the year, you’re sure to have an exciting educational day out. What's even better is their brand-new Gruffalo Trail! Explore the deep, dark wood and discover sculptures of your beloved characters hand-crafted! It's also open all year round!
