TheWacky Warehouse at the Phantom Winger offers a fully air conditioned indoor adventure play structure for kids under 4ft9 in height and 10 years, plus enclosed toddle zone for under 3s. A great way to beat the great British summer and get their exercise whatever the weather!
Both play areas offer opportunities for physical, social and imagination play, boasting slides, tunnels, balls and bridges with plenty more besides all layered in that great thick and colourful padding that protects them when they inevitably take a tumble or two. Naturally the main frame for the older kids is much bigger, but visibility is still good throughout from the seating area and disabled access to parents' areas is good.
They offer regular arts and crafts sessions here so you and the kids can get creative; no pre booking offered so just drop in, supervision and all materials included. It's worth taking a change of clothes for small ones (and excitable ones!) if you're aiming for the creative play as there's a chance they'll get sticky then want to play, and they can't go in there sticky!
There's a beer garden here but it doesn't have any play equipment in it. Kids' birthday parties welcomed here with several options plus complimentary WiFi means any (or indeed all) of you can use a pocket computer too. Or talk to each other!
Plus they have a mezzanine floor which is available for hire freely for special occasions such as bigger Birthday parties, Christenings, Mums' Group Meetings and whatever else you need it for!
Monday to Friday from 9.30am. Saturday and Sunday from 11am. Closing time varies each day from 8pm to 9pm.
