Attraction Information
The vast yet friendly Kidwells Park's latest feature, The Waterfall, features a bridge, ornamental planting and is lit up at night! It's an enchanting little stop on the way through, but there's actually plenty to do here aside from that.
Facilities include the spacious children's play area with play equipment suitable for 3 to 8 year olds, including swings, slide and other traditional elements. Plenty to keep the average small person happy for an hour or so at least, more if you've brought them a friend along!
The Matrix Skate Park is open to the public for use on skates, skate-boards and BMX bikes, with plenty of edges and customised surfaces great for trick and skill development, with plenty of space for beginners too.
There are also modern sports courts marked out for tennis, netball and football, on a first come first play basis, so be sure to either turn up early or be flexible and either way bring all the balls etc you need!
Immediate vicinity amenities include well appointed public toilets, a seasonal refreshment kiosk and allocated seating area. Plus the whole thing is buggy and wheelchair friendly with evenly surfaced paths and evening lighting.
