The Outdoors Project - Wycombe & The Chilterns
Marlow, BuckinghamshireAbout The Outdoors Project - Wycombe & The Chilterns
The Outdoors Project encourages young people to explore nature and get active in the fresh air by offering the most fun, immersive and exciting clubs to primary school age children. We run Holiday clubs, After School Clubs, Birthday parties and School Workshops in a variety of both public and private outdoor spaces. Our clubs have something for every type of child - every day is different to keep the kids enthused and entertained enjoying the outdoors. From Bushcraft, to nerf, to Harry Potter and Minecraft-themed days. We have something for everyone.
Children are learning all the time; working as a team, needing to use strategy and communication skills to reach the end goals of their activities. Often children won’t be aware that they are learning new skills but we see a real sense of play and discovery with the children. There is a certain amount of resilience needed when working with new people for the first time and everyone gains here. Children gain confidence, improve their physical and mental development and laugh while they are having fun.
The BEST Holiday Clubs
At our HOLIDAY CLUBS we can really get stuck into our most immersive and exciting activities. We know it can be daunting for children to spend a whole day with new people, that’s why we always ensure they get a warm welcome and that we get fun and simple team games running straight away. Watching children’s confidence grow and new friendships form during our holiday clubs is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.
We have a great range of entertaining activities planned each holiday.
Our clubs are Ofsted registered.
Fun-filled birthday parties
At The Outdoors Project, we love to party! Our parties are packed with fun, silliness, games, adventure & fresh air, and ran by The Outdoors Project's super energetic & fun instructors. There's a range of exciting activities to choose from, from energetic outdoor activities & games, to chilled out nature-based crafts.
Parties aren't exclusive to kids' birthdays - we can entertain groups of kids at other events, like weddings, camping parties, 50th birthday gatherings & other family events
"It's childcare that they actually want to do to!"
"I always know my children will have the best time with [the] brilliant team at Outdoors Project. The whole day is outdoors and filled with creative, wholesome, Forest School fun and humorous games; the kids are rosy cheeked and and beaming at pick up, and happily tell me about new friends they have made, or new bushcraft skills they have learnt." Clio, January 2026
"Our go-to holiday club! My son spent 4 days there this summer and each time he came back he told me it was even better than last time! He loved the variety of activities and the different themed woven in so well. [The] team are always so welcoming and keep the sessions running with brilliant energy. And best of all everything is done outside in the fresh air all day! We love the Outdoor Project clubs and will certainly be returning next holidays. Mandy, August 2025
"My daughter chose to have an Outdoors Project birthday party and it was AMAZING! She had the best time, all the children were fully engaged, laughing, having fun and it was just so fab to see. Thank you so much, we would definitely book a party again!" Llewella, July 2025
