Salters Steamers offer a variety of hugely popular pleasure trips through some of the most beautiful scenery in England. During the summer their scheduled trips operate from every major location on the Upper Thames between the university city of Oxford and the London boundary city of Staines (including such famous places as Reading, Henley and Windsor).
This friendly family firm is one of the longest established firms on the Thames, and offers a variety of hugely popular boat trips that allow you to travel through some of the most beautiful scenery in England. They also hire out day boats, punts, and other small craft (from Oxford only), plus they operate charters on the Solent.
Boats depart from 1 Thames Side in Windsor, which is next to the Riverside Railway station, and just below Windsor Castle, as well as a number of other locations, and provide a great way to sightsee that the whole family will enjoy.
