West View Better Health Leisure Centre on Ribbleton Lane, close to Deepdale Stadium, is one of Preston's premier family destinations after a major refurbishment. A 55-line climbing hall - with a top rope section, overhanging lead wall and an accessible wall - is regarded as one of the best in the area, and there's soft play to keep younger children entertained too. The 25-metre pool runs Family Fun and Swim For All sessions alongside lessons, while outdoor 3G pitches and padel courts add football and racket sports to the mix. With a 70-station gym, women-only gym, sports hall for badminton, and a grab 'n go cafe, there's genuinely something for everyone.
