Trade the city centre for a family forest day out at Go Ape
Cockfosters. The highest Go Ape course in the South-East and part of
London’s much-loved ‘Green Belt’, it’s both tranquil and truly adventurous. The perfect combination!
Before you have a brilliant time and head for heights in the forest canopy, you'll have a thorough safety briefing where you will learn about your clips, the ropes, the risks and what to do in an emergency. You'll get some safety practice in before you go up high too - so don't panic! You'll be whizzing past those tree crossings and leaping from the free-fall Tarzan swings like a pro in no time!
Things to do
You’ll have 2-3 hours to explore rope ladders, zip wires and more awesome features of the Treetop Challenge, like the 16m Tarzan Swings which are bound to give you butterflies. The great thing about this course is that you can adjust the level of difficulty to suit your needs.
Just an orangutan's arm (also known as a 5-minute walk) away from Cockfosters tube station, discover 413 acres of rolling meadows and ancient woodland. It’s a great escape from city life and an easy way to get a healthy dose of fresh air!
Are you ready for the newest and most extreme adventure yet? Try out Go Ape Cockfosters' Challenge Plus!
