About Go Ape Cockfosters

Trade the city centre for a family forest day out at Go Ape Cockfosters! Did you know it's the highest Go Ape course in the South-East? Plus, it's part of London’s much-loved ‘Green Belt’, and is both tranquil and truly adventurous... It's the perfect combination of adventure for thrill seekers and family-fuelled fun!

Before you have a brilliant time and head for heights in the forest canopy, you'll have a thorough safety briefing where you will learn about your clips, the ropes, the risks and what to do in an emergency. You'll get some safety practice in before you go up high too - so don't panic! You'll be whizzing past those tree crossings and leaping from the free-fall Tarzan swings like a pro in no time!

Challenge Treetop Courses

Up the ante and try the most challenging Go Ape in London! At Go Ape Cockfosters, you'll find their most difficult activity - Challenge Plus. Which is the only London location to have it! Are you brave enough?

Epic Zip Lines

If you're looking for the ultimate zip line experience, we think the dual Skateboard zip line will hit just the spot. You'll feel like you're flying as you soar high over the tree tops!

Don't forget the adrenaline-pumping Tarzan Swings!

Ape-tastic Day Out

Feel like heading back to the ground? Make a day out of your Go Ape adventures and enjoy a bike ride on the cycle routes! There's plenty to explore in the beautiful woodlands, from cycling trails to walking trails.

Transport Information

By Car:

Leave the M25 at junction 24 and take the Stagg Hill/Cockfosters Road (A111). Continue for approximately 2.5 miles on the A111 and head straight over 3 roundabouts.

Turn left into the main entrance of Trent Country Park. Sometimes your sat-nav will try and send you to another entrance - make sure you join us from Cockfosters Road!

The main entrance to Trent Country Park is not signposted to Go Ape so you'll need to keep your eyes peeled.

By Tube:

The nearest tube station is just a 10-minute walk from Cockfosters tube station. As you leave the underground station by the nearest exit, turn right and walk up Cockfosters Road (A111, heading away from the shops).

Trent Country Park is on your right-hand side approximately 400 metres long (see entrance image on right). Follow the park road and you will soon see Go Ape on the right.
