Things To Do
If you're a city dweller in need of a break in the countryside, Willows Activity Farm has a dazzling array of adorable and quirky activities for kids to enjoy.
Get mucky and cause mayhem in the Puddle Playpark! If there's one thing all kids love doing (which adults secretly love too), it's making a mess. Leap through water sprinklers, play with overflowing taps, and slide down the water ditches. Just remember to bring a towel! The Puddle Playpark is the ultimate adventure play experience.
CALLING ALL PETER RABBIT FANS! You must visit Cotton-Tail Village. This indoor imaginative play area is made up of countless play areas that children explore. Save the animals at the local vets, teach a classroom of baby bunnies or pick up your everyday groceries from the farm shop. Cotton-Tail Village is your oyster! Make sure you stop off at Mr Tod's Lair while you're there. This outdoor attraction has secret entrances, hiding places and even a chimney lookout! Just make sure you don't end up in his cooking pot... There is also a Peter Rabbit Woodland Trail, Peter Rabbit's Garden and the Squirrel Nutkins Zip Wire!
Board Tristan The Tractor Ride as he takes you around the farm. Then enjoy all sorts of fun fairground rides like Pony Parade, Yoyo and the Carousel Funfair Ride!
Keep your eyes peeled for magical seasonal events at the farmyard. Willows Activity Farm runs exciting events throughout the year.
Willows Farm Park Day Nursery
Looking for a safe, caring & stimulating environment for your little ones? At the Willows Farm Park Day Nursery tots aged 6 months to 5 years old can enjoy healthy nutritious meals, daily visits to the award-winning Willows Activity Farm and learn in the 'planning the moment' activities.
Babies are encouraged to explore their senses using sight, sound, colour and touch. In toddler sessions, children can engage with the countryside by petting farm animals, taking part in creative play and learning 'early maths'.
Pre-school kids can jump into new countryside experiences from hatching ducklings, weekly forest schools and pony grooming. Head to the garden to grow your own vegetables - your little ones will learn about the beautiful cycle of life in the plant world. Your kids will be in the hands of qualified and experienced staff.
Food & Drink
There is one cafe open at all times (Mrs Rabbit’s Kitchen) and another (Burrows Cafe) open at selected times. Both are situated on the ground floor with a slight ramp at the entrance.
Please let Willows Activity Farm know if you have any dietary requirements beforehand and they will do their best to cater for your needs.
Tuck into a wide selection of fresh produce from the farm as well as a range of drinks. Put your feet up and devour the fluffiest of jacket potatoes. When the kids' bellies start rumbling, load them up with some golden chicken nuggets, sausages, fish fingers, baguettes and many more staple snacks.
Psst, they also have pick 'n' mix lunch boxes - with bigger portions for the grown-ups too.
If you prefer to bring your food & drink you can have an idyllic picnic in the outdoor seating area. You'll also be happy to know there is a microwave in the Burrow Cafe and Mrs Rabbit's Kitchen, so heating up your baby food will be no problem!
