Prepare to embark on a wild journey at Northumberland Zoo, where you'll be able to discover over 80 species of animals! You'll meet a huge variety of amazing animals from all corners of the globe. From majestic lions and playful meerkats to fascinating reptiles and colourful birds, you'll encounter creatures big and small that will leave you in awe.
As you wander through the zoo's 17 acres of beautifully landscaped park pathways, you'll have the chance to observe these magnificent creatures up close and learn about their natural habitats. From the magnificent snow leopards and a huge bat house to the elusive Canadian lynx and even farm animals! If you like amphibians, you can spot some pretty colourful frogs. Try to find the Asian short-clawed otter, say hello to the Canadian Lynx, and even catch the family of Capybaras!
Northumberland Zoo is the perfect place for families with young children to spark curiosity and foster a love for animals. The zookeepers are passionate about their work and always ready to share their knowledge! You can listen in on interesting animal talks and witness regular daily feeding times!

If it's a little rainy, head indoors to the Bear Falls Softplay, where there's more wild adventures!
The kids can drive around on their Lamby Tractors, attend the Wild Theatre to see the amazing animals in action and get closer to wildlife than ever before with a Wallaby walk-through and a lemur woods walk-through!
