Attraction Information
Medieval knights, dragons, dressing up AND Harry Potter?! Alnwick Castle may very well be heaven on earth.
The castle has a fantastically rich history which you’re welcome to explore with stateroom visits and exhibitions. Not only that but it’s played host to some pretty incredible film sets, like Robin Hood Prince of Thieves and kid’s favourite, Harry Potter! The resident witches and wizards roaming the grounds encourage visitors to get robed up and be part of the magic.
The headline attraction has to be their Artisans Courtyard. Dress up, do quizzes and wind your way through a labyrinth to see if you can defeat the mythical dragon at the end! Warning: not for the feint-hearted! Also enjoy special events like Longbow and falconry demonstrations, traditional musical performances and meeting locals like Peterkin, the court jester. His fire eating, stilt walking antics will have you laughing and gasping all at once!
