Expertly guided historical tours take you back to experience the conditions of the Roman, Victorian and 1930s underground workings: really fascinating stuff! Most kids' imaginations are really spurred by the idea of folks working underground so it's a great time to slip the secret schooling in!

See and hear the old 1930s mine and mine machinery. Have a go at gold panning and take the opportunity to experience the frustrations of searching for real gold! It's great fare for the imagination and makes great material for an extra credit project for school!
