Outdoor and Indoor Play Areas

For those looking for more adventure, Cantref offers thrilling outdoor activities. There's a large indoor soft play area, there are also ball cannons and pedal tractors indoors. Outdoors there is an adventure play, pedal go-karts, a sledge ride, a swamp boat ride, crazy golf, a zip line, sand and water play, combine harvester and more..... The Sledge Ride is great fun for the adults too.

Seasonal Events

Cantref holds a variety of fun events throughout the year for families to enjoy. Christmas At Cantref sees the farm turned into a winter wonderland of festive fun, and during October, don't miss the popular Pumpkin Festival. There's a free pumpkin for every child, Mr Ev's Show, Wizard School, Carnival Games and much more! There are Easter egg hunts with the Easter Bunny and Lambing Festival too during Springtime. During the Summer there is a summer festival with shows like Foam Party, Bubble Beats Party and seasonal attractions such as our Maize Maze and Sunflower Patch.

Shows

There are shows every half an hour throughout the day. Most of these are under cover. The programme changes seasonally: Pet Handling, Bottle Feeding Lambs, Pony Grooming, Mini Farmers, Tractor & Trailer Rides, Mr Ev's Show, Craft Time, Bubble Beats, Foam Party, Big Water Fight with Slip and Slide, Meet Blue the Velociraptor Dinosaur, Meet Spirit the Unicorn and more....

Horse Riding Centre

The farm also boasts an exciting horse riding experience at Cantref Riding Centre for all levels, from beginners to experienced riders, allowing you to explore the beautiful countryside on horseback. Cantref Riding Centre offers 20 Minute Rides in the riding school (age 4+) Hour Rides around the farm ideal for families (Age 6+) and Half Day and Day Rides up onto the foothills of the main peaks of the Brecon Beacons (Age 11+). There are also Own a Pony Days and Vip Pamper Pony packages available

VIP Animal Experience

A private one hour hands on experience for a family /group of up to 6 people. Options are Goat Walking, Be a Keeper, Meet the Pets, Pamper a Pony and Bottle Feed Lambs

Segway Safaris

A 45 minute experience including basic tuition. Once you have mastered how to ride the Segway you can embark on a thrilling journey through the beautiful woodland track, immersing yourself in the wonder of nature.
