Attraction Information
Castle Kennedy Gardens are 75 acres of dramatic lochs, wild rambles and local wildlife, and all in the ruins of this once magnificent castle.
The gardens that fill the grounds were laid down as far back as 1730 and are a treasure trove of exotic plants, the tallest trees around and an enormous lily pond. You can explore these through a variety of family trails and walks and play a few rounds of epic eye spy while you're at it!
It’s the very definition of picturesque so see if you can spot red squirrels and otters, or one of the many winged residents. The best bit: if you have any little twitchers in the family, don’t miss a chance to join a ranger and make a heart shaped bird feeder. It’s a great opportunity to get crafty and learn all about the seeds birds love to tuck into.
