Bangor Aurora, a multi million leisure facility at the site of the Valentines Playing Fields, offers plenty of opportunites for aquatic fun for the whole family, whatever their age or swimming ability.

This new flagship aquatic and leisure complex in the heart of Bangor features 3 swimming pools, leisure waters with flumes, inflatable fune, and Northern Ireland's only ‘Sidewinder' slide, plus extensive gym facilities.There are standard main, diving and toddler pools, and they also have a children's soft adventure play area elsewhere in the building.

Swimming lessons are available for all ages, and the friendly, fully qualified instructors can teach any ability level. There is also a quality diving programme, offering fun, progression and achievement, including classes for very young children.

If you and the kids fancy some other type of energetic fun, the centre also offers badminton, netball, basketball, indoor football, volleyball, trampolining, gymnastics, and martial arts, plus there are various fitness classes to enjoy.

Monday to Sunday 06:00 - 22:00. Leisure Waters /Aqua Challenge: Saturday to Sunday and School Holidays 10:00 - 18:00
