Attraction Information
There’s no better place to get up close with one of the largest deer breeds than at the Red Deer Range. Shh, you’re so close you'll scare off them off!
As you wander around the park, keep your eyes peeled you’ll have the chance to see the some of the 60 red deer living in the park right at home in their natural environment. That’s not all though, you’re likely to spot other amazing wildlife too, maybe even a bird of prey! If you’re visiting during summer time you’re in for a little treat as the baby calves will be bouncing around the park too.
If seeing red deer up close isn't exciting enough already, this is also a fantastic place to stargaze! Because it's so dark, the Forest Park is one of the best places in the world to enjoy the stars! On a clear night you don’t even need binoculars or a telescope to enjoy the magical views.
