About Cake or Dice
At Cake or Dice we love good food, great coffee, tasty cakes and lots of board games! With a wide variety of games in store, we have games to suit everybody. We have a large selection of free to play games, with other games ranging between £2.00 and £6.00 to play. Our games range from orchard games for wee ones through to heavey weight boardgames like Scythe and Everdell. But even when you dont fancy a game we have a fun little book exchange and lots of fun workshops that you can book into to learn new crafts. Should you get a bit peckish while doing all of this we serve breakfast, jacket potaoes, paninis, soups are served all day, with a range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available. Our cakes are baked by local bakers with new cakes regulalrly which includes vegan and gluten free options. We offer a good selection of hot and cold drinks, with the added options of almond, soya and gluten free oat milk. Our coffee from local roasters Glen Lyon has been carefully selected to make the perfect cup to keep you going on a busy day whether its an espresso or a iced caramel mocha we have something for most tastes. If tea is more your style we have a range of loose leaf teas that have been blended locally to offer a range of caffinated and decaff teas to suit most cosy cuppa moments. Fancy something more exciting we have a range of themed Milkshakes which always have the WOW factor. All of this from an award winning cafe!

Cake or Dice is a safe, warm and welcoming board game cafe in the heart of Dundee. Come and play one of our 450+ games, join in one of our unique workshops or come and sample our award winning cafe!
Games galore and facinating workshops.
We have over 450 board and card games to suit all ages, abilities and preferences. Our larger tables seat up to 10 people, giving more space for bigger groups to enjoy games together. Our games are hired out on a token system with the games ranging from free to £6 per game, this is for your whole time playing no matter how long or how many people will be playing. If games just aren't your thing we also run a range of workshops that can be found on our socials. There is a small book exchange that has everything from kids books to zines and murder mysteries.
Award winning cafe!
Our menu offers a variety of meals and options to suit even the most picky of eaters. We have fresh home made soups everyday, paninis, jacket potatoes, adult platters and kids platter meals. With our very own Molke working with Glen Lyon coffee we offer 1st class coffees for those tired parents and carers. For those who just want a cuppa we offer a range of loose leaf locally blended teas as well as a really good cuppa. Our local bakers create a range of cakes each week for us including brownies, old school cake and more.
We have a really big range of vegetarian and vegan options.
