Attraction Information
Camperdown Country Park, located just 3 miles from Dundee city centre, is the ideal place genuinely full day out, full of fun for the whole family!
The Camperdown Wildlife Centre offers everything from bears to lemurs to otters at a very reasonable charge, and they present a pleasantly strong educational slant to it all. They have a number of interesting events and activities throughout the year, and they also offer animal experiences!
The Camperdown Play Complex, situated near the Wildlife Centre, features a state of the art play area with a good variety of play equipment to suit different age groups. Slides, climbing nets and suspension bridges are all located around a crow's nest, creating a pirate ship theme that the kids will love! Trampolines, kiddie cars, funfair rides, and a boating pond are just some of the other seasonal facilities on offer.
The Woodland Visitor Centre is open daily and the network of paths and trails are suitable for walking, horse riding or cycling. A number of other great spots can be found within the boundaries of Camperdown, including Templeton Woods, a haven for wildlife and a great location for woodland activities, and Clatto Reservoir, Dundee's centre for outdoor water sports.
Elsewhere in the leisure park section you can also find the Dundee Ice Arena for a bit of ice skating and the Cineworld complex if you want to rest up with some popcorn afterwards.
