Attraction Information
Camperdown Wildlife Centre is one of Dundee's most popular attractions especially with families and is home to over 50 species of much loved and cared for animals, birds and reptiles!
Come and meet the playful Lion-tail macaques and their two Lar Gibbons, Shany and Malackou - they're classified as vulnerable species. You'll also get to see Wolves, Snowy Owls, Ring-tailed Lemurs, Hyacinth Macaws, Meerkats and European Brown Bears. There are feeding times you can watch, keeper talks you can catch and they do loads of conservation work too so there are great opportunities for not-so-secret-schooling and enthusing your young environmentalists!
Look out for special events taking place throughout the year including Community Open Days on which entry is free! Plus there are birthday parties available too which are held in their lovely Learning Room. And they're so welcoming and keen to help you enjoy your day that free umbrella hire is available for a returnable deposit as are wheelchairs and they even offer Assistance Dog boarding for the duration of your visit so you have to leave your handy pooch at home! And you can choose from a newly refurbished cafe or the outdoor picnic area to refuel the smalls midway through their adventure!
