Ancrum Outdoor Centre offers plenty of opportunities to have some active fun, with a seriously wide range of activities that almost defy description! Loads of outdoor activities on offer, wet and dry, active and serene, so you are sure to find something that will interest the kids.
Whichever activity you choose, you can be reassured that all equipment is provided and the safety protection gear is state of the art. All you need to do is wear some clothes that are easy to move in and suitable for the weather. Anything else, such as goggles, helmets and more are all provided, making it easy to get started in the activity of your choice.
The range of exciting activities available include mountain biking, snow sports such as boarding and skiing, with a dry slope to practice on, plus a number of mountaineering and climbing opportunities, including chain walking and hill walking. They have an indoor climbing and bouldering wall too! If water sports are more your kids' thing, choose from activities such as sailing, canoeing and kayaking, white water rafting and coasteering, which is a great way to explore a coastline without a boat or craft.
Other activities available include archery, bush craft, and blowkarting, a form of go karting using wind powered karts!
