- Ice Skating and Rollerskating
Dundee Ice Arena is a great place for some family fun on the ice, with a number of skating sessions available, plus lessons, and ice sports, so there is something for all ages and ability levels.
If you are new to skating, a variety of lessons are available throughout the week, where skaters of any ages can learn the basics, through to advanced skills, with the friendly coaches showing you how to skate for fun, or even up to competition standard! The lesson price includes access to the 2 hour public session afterwards, so you can practice your new found skills!
If your little ones are keen to get on the ice, you may want to try Snow Babies, which is like a playgroup on ice for under 5s, and you don't even need to wear skates if you don't want to. There are lots of big toys for the kids to push around or sit on, and there is always a qualified skating coach to supervise these sessions, making them a great way to introduce your little snow baby to the joys of skating. After School Skating sessions are also offered, plus Sunday Funday, and Disco sessions!
If the older kids want something a bit more sporty and ambitious than staying upright, figure skating, junior ice hockey and curling lessons are also available by arrangement, and Dundee Ice Arena caters for birthday parties too.
The Arena is home to the Dundee CCS Stars professional ice hockey team, who play in the Elite Ice Hockey League. Watch them in action at the weekends from September to April!
