Claverhouse Equestrian Centre is a fully approved and insured riding school. All of Claverhouse Equestrian's instructors are fully qualified and trained in first aid. We have a varied selection of horses and ponies to suit all riders needs and capabilities. Claverhouse Equestrian also offers excellent hacking, all hacks are taken out by an experienced and friendly escort.
Claverhouse Equestrian also offers own a pony days and weeks: your child will combine education with fun and hard work in a full day of horse related activities. It is an ideal opportunity for any pony mad youngster who would love to be around horses and ponies for a day. The day will include grooming, riding, learning how to tack up and untack your pony, mucking out, games, competitions and much more! You can book by the day or for a whole week, discounts apply if you book the whole week. For those aged 4+, no experience essential.
Children can be dropped off at 10am, with a packed lunch and be picked up at 4pm. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Ideal footwear for the day is wellies, jodhpur boots or riding boots (trainers are not appropriate).
Riding lessons and hacks are £15 per hour. Please note the hour session includes mounting and dismounting time.
