Lizzie's Farm
Bromsgrove, WorcestershireAbout Lizzie's Farm
Are you looking for a unique and unforgettable day out with your family in Bromsgrove? Look no further than Lizzie's Farm! Nestled in the heart of the picturesque countryside, this charming destination is not just any farm; it's an adventure waiting to unfold for both young and old alike.
With an array of activities, from getting up close with friendly farm animals to indulging in delicious farm-fresh produce, the family farm offers an experience that is as educational as it is entertaining.
Psst...I've been here too! So, I know it's absolutely amazing!
Things To Do
The family-run Lizzie's Farm is literally a diamond near Birmingham and one attraction where I left feeling super happy! Why? Because there is a whole herd of Highland cows!! And they're simply the cutest farm animals around.
You'll find the golden brown, plus fuzzy black ones too! These lovely animals, with their long horns and shaggy fur, are such a treasure to see. Mostly because I didn't think you'd see them anywhere but Scotland!
They're a popular and fan-favourite animal among kids and adults and there's no wonder why. If they come up to the fence, you are allowed to pet them (but be gentle and do it slowly so as to not startle them). If you come during early spring, you may be able to spot a Highland calf...or two!
But the excitement doesn't stop there! The lovely farm is also home to a variety of farm animals, including sheep, goats, rabbits and chickens. All of which contribute to the farm's lively atmosphere.
You can meet the baby lambs and stroke them too!
Kids are given the chance to learn about the animals' habits and care, making it a wonderfully interactive experience that combines fun with education.
Exclusive Experiences
Exploring Lizzie's Farm offers a unique insight into the daily rhythms of farm life. Visitors can participate in feeding sessions, where they get to feed the animals under the guidance of the friendly farm staff.
There's also a Highland cow experience, where you'll be guided on a tour with the farm owner for over 2 hours on the farm. You'll meet and greet with the herd of cows, stroke them, learn all about them and snap plenty of selfies!
It's an animal experience you'll remember for a lifetime!
Farm Shop
At the heart of Lizzie's Farm is their fresh and delicious farm produce. You'll find a treasure trove of fresh, locally sourced produce, including fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy products.
From beef burgers and pork hotdogs to plushies, fresh ice cream and more. Visitors can take a piece of the countryside home with them, whether it's a jar of homemade jam or a freshly baked loaf of bread. It's an excellent way to support local agriculture while enjoying the unbeatable taste of farm-to-table goods.
Food & Drink
Head to Lizzies Farm & Tea Room for a scrumptious afternoon tea, light bite or just some homemade goodies.
From delicate cakes, sausage rolls, pies and tarts to cold and hot drinks and more!
No visit to Lizzie's Farm would be complete without experiencing the quintessentially British tradition of afternoon tea. Set against the backdrop of the farm's serene landscape, guests can enjoy a selection of handcrafted sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam, and a variety of cakes and pastries. It's a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration and adventure, allowing families to relax and share the day's experiences over a cup of tea.
Why We Think Lizzie's Farm is a Must-Visit for Families
Lizzie's Farm offers more than just a day out. It's a place where families can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse themselves in the tranquillity of nature. From meeting your favourite Highland cows, baby lambs and fluffy rabbits to enjoying farm life and farm produce.
It's an absolute gem to discover and I 100% suggest a family day out there!
