The Playcentre
Hyde, Greater ManchesterAbout The Playcentre
The Playcentre adventure play facilities include a huge 4 storey high junior play zone piled high with interactive challenges and fun features to entertain and exhaust your kids: hurrah! Not to neglect the smaller customer, there's a large dedicated toddler and baby area, with smaller versions of the big fun and a calmer atmosphere plus plenty of toddle and crawl space too! Both are bright, colourful and pretty spacious, with decent visibility and differing features for every floor, satisfying the imagination play side of things as well.
There's also a multi sports area complete with basket ball and football nets, plus plenty of balls to go around. This section isn't age zoned so a bit of extra supervision advised as it's easy to get a ball in the nose if you're knee height to everyone else!
As a massive bonus there's also a great little tykes' car track for the sit in foot powered jobbies, plus another separate special track for the battery powered go karts and quad bikes. Good to fit up to about 10 years old and loads of fun burning rubber round the little circuit or pootling about being a Sunday driver! Height restriction 140cm.
Parents are well looked after in the comfortable cafe area with good visibility of the main frame and there is some disabled access. There are specific kids' options on the menu as well as the rest of it and highchairs are available.
