About Hargate Hill Equestrian Centre
Hargate Hill Equestrian Centre is a riding school and fishery just outside Glossop. We have a great selection of well schooled horses and ponies who help us teach you how to ride and have fun with this great sport. You can have private lessons and ride outs around our farm and bridleways, or group lessons with your friends using our indoor and outdoor schools. We also offer pony days so that you can spend the whole day here learning how to look after the horses as well as getting in an hour and a half's riding as a group. If you want to learn more, we also run pony club once a fortnight where you can earn badges and certificates for improving your knowledge and skills.
Several times a year we organize fun shows for our riding school clients to have a go at show jumping and dressage and maybe take home a rosette or two! We also have a picnic area and café for you to stay and have your lunch or tea after all your hard work.
For your birthday we can organize a riding party for all of your friends to have a go too! The well stocked fishing lakes and footpaths are a great way to keep the rest of your family entertained while you get on with your lesson.
The footpaths through are farm are easily suitable for pushchairs and buggies so the whole family can come for the day out. There are ample car parking and rest room facilities. Remember that riding is an outdoor sport though so these paths can be a little muddy and you should come suitably dressed for the weather conditions.

8am to 9pm Monday through Thursday. Friday through Sunday 8am to 5pm. Booking required.
