An independent climbing centre, based in Marple, Stockport between The Peak District and Manchester. The Ridge Climbing Centre is situated in the former Rope Race unit inside Goyt Mill.
We offer an authentic climbing experience, with an 18 metre 'real rock' effect feature wall and 20+ other climbing walls and 3 bouldering rooms. This is as close to an outdoor climbing experience you can get indoors!
Weekly kids climbing sessions available each Friday and Saturday and during school holidays, led by our experienced instructors. Suitable for ages 5+. A great opportunity for kids to challenge themselves, have fun, learn new skills including belaying, climbing knots and developing their climbing technique.

Not just for kids! We have adults climbing as well, whether you have previous experience and know the ropes or are new to climbing and would like to book a beginners course, taster session or develop your skills with our learn to lead course, we can cater for any level of experience.
A cafe and yoga studio also operate within the climbing centre so grab yourself a hot or cold drink and pizza or snack after your climbing!

We offer children's climbing sessions with our experienced climbing instructors on Fridays, Saturdays and during school holidays, these can be booked in advance via our website and are suitable for children from age 5+.
Not just for kids, we offer climbing and courses for adults as well. Including beginners and learn to lead courses, and weekly social evenings.
A cafe and yoga studio also operate within the climbing centre, so opportunity to grab a drink and a snack or pizza after your climbing!
