York is well-connected by train, making it a convenient option for those traveling from various parts of the UK. The Ghost Bus Tours York also departs directly outside York Railway Station.

By Bus

There are several local bus routes that can take you close to Exhibition Square, the starting point for the Ghost Bus Tour in York. If you're travelling from within York or the surrounding areas, you can take one of the following buses:

You can catch either of these buses to York Station - 843 and 840, plus Park & Ride services (2, 3, 7), and local routes.

By Car:

From the North/South: Follow the A1(M) and take the exit for the A64 towards York. Then, follow signs for the city centre.

For parking, we recommend using one of the nearby car parks:

Bootham Row Car Park: This is the closest car park to Exhibition Square, located about a 3-minute walk away.

Marygate Car Park: Located around a 7-10 minute walk away through the scenic Museum Gardens.
