UK's first 'Pay What You Can' family play centre
The Hideaway is a charity which is proud to be donation-based, making it fully accessible and affordable for all families. All visitors can choose to pay a rate that's right for them with our unique 'pay what you can' policy. On Saturday's a minimum £5 donation applies for children, but Mon-Fri it's up to you - even through the school holidays!
Dozens of extra groups, classes, courses and sessions alongside play
Every week The Hideaway has a different theme with all children's activities (story time, messy play, crafts etc.) helping children to learn as they play. These extra activities are included and happen throughout the day.
Through the week The Hideaway also runs a whole range of extra sessions for specific groups such as children with Additional Needs, and groups for parents or carers. There's even a grandparents play group! All families are welcome to book onto these sessions, and they're also pay what you can!
Imagination, role play, creativity... more than just a soft play!
Our centre is far more than just a soft play. With two role play villages, a construction zone, a large creation zone (including crafts, messy play, sand and water), a bouncy castle and sports area, our 'Wonderful Woodland' tots area and sensory room, The Hideaway will keep your little ones entertained all day. The Hideout is a space for older children and tweens which is bookable on a Saturday and through the holidays so the whole family can visit together.

The times listed are for general opening for play.
Outside of these hours we may be open for specific sessions for example, Tuesdays 4.30pm-6.30pm is our SEND play session (Our Club) every week. This is open to all children with SEND.

- Adult (17-18+) : Free
Monday - Friday the centre is 'Pay What You Can' so visitors are encouraged to donate what they're able. This can be done through the website at the time of booking, or via tap to give (card) or cash donation box in the centre.
On Saturday a £5 minimum donation applies to children.
Party price enquiries can be made directly.
