Attraction Information

Jodrell Bank is a fun day out for all the family.

Within the Planet Pavilion you will find the Cafe with outside terrace which offers fantastic views of the Lovell Telescope. There is also a gift shop and a small exhibition room where you can explore the Universe and learn more about the planets using the model of the Solar System.

How did the Universe begin? What is a black hole? Find all of the answers to the wonders the Universe, listen to the sounds of the Big Bang and explore the invisible Universe using a range of hands on activities in the Space Pavilion!

Test your science knowledge with the fun worksheets or experiment with sound waves using the whispering dishes.

Excellent value for money. Kept all of us busy for an afternoon. The activity days are great fun and educational too.
