About The Runway Visitor Park

If you're searching for a day out to entertain the whole family, look no further than the Runway Visitor Park. Located in Manchester, this unique attraction is a fantastic trip for kids fascinated by flight and aircraft enthusiasts! With raised viewing mounds offering a clear 180-degree view over the airfield, you can see some of the 600 daily aircraft movements!

Things To Do

Runway Visitor Park is a dream destination for aviation enthusiasts, but it's also much more than that. It's an interactive, engaging place where families can learn, explore, and have fun together.

Watch Planes Up Close

One of the biggest draws of the Runway Visitor Park is the chance to see planes up close on the busy runways. The park is next to Manchester Airport's runway, giving visitors a front-row seat to watch planes take off and land. The thrill of seeing a massive aircraft soar into the sky or touch down on the tarmac never gets old – especially for young children fascinated by all things that fly!

Explore the Iconic Concorde

Step inside the legendary Concorde, one of the fastest planes ever built. The guided tour offers fascinating insights into aviation history, and the chance to see the luxurious interiors where famous passengers once sat is a real treat.

The Concorde’s unique shape, the stories of its famous passengers, and the sheer sense of history make this a must-see attraction for any family visiting the park.

Enjoy Front-Row Plane Spotting

Watch planes take off and land just a few hundred metres away, giving your family an up-close and exhilarating view of the bustling activity.

The park's prime location right next to Manchester Airport’s busy runways offers a unique vantage point, perfect for families who want to witness the impressive scale and power of modern aviation.

Experience Interactive Kids' Activities

The park offers a range of hands-on experiences, from flight simulators to open cockpit days, where children can pretend to be pilots. These interactive activities make learning about aviation fun and engaging for young minds.

They turn a day out into an adventure, where kids can learn, play, and explore in an environment that encourages their curiosity and creativity.
